Who’s your favorite professor?
Richard Merritt — “Always an adventure in his classes.â€
If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently?
“I’d try to be less shy.â€
Any fears about graduating?
“Nope. I’m set.â€
What are your plans for after Luther?
“I’m either going to Iceland to make a movie with a Fulbright Fellowship (I’m a finalist), get my MFA in studio art from the School at the Art Institute of Chicago (I’m accepted to their Film, Video and New Media department) or work on some films in Iowa this next year and do Chicago in 2010!â€
Any great Luther stories to share?
“Freshman year: two hours of sleep every night all of second semester, the first day of summer vacation I slept in until 4:30 pm. THAT is how awesome your friends at Luther can be.â€

Student worker at Oneota Market and Financial Aid Office, research projects with Psychology Department
What’s been your favorite class?
Evolutionary Psychology with Dr. Bishop
What’s your favorite thing about Luther?
“The music community. There are so many great musicians here, you can always find people to play with.â€
If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently?
“I would have taken more electives that interested me instead of only psych classes.â€
Any advice for new students?
“Don’t be afraid to go out and meet new people; you never know what a relationship will turn into.â€
Any fears about graduating?
“I’m afraid of losing touch with some of my less close friends, but I will definitely try to keep in contact.â€
Any great Luther stories to share?
“Waking up at 6 am after a long night out with two of my best friends, sitting under a tree and watching the sun come up and throwing a frisbee around for an hour or so... good times.â€

Collegiate Chorale, Arashi Yosakoi Japanese Dance Group, playing the role of Lady Macbeth in a SPIN Theatre senior show called “Kabuki Lady Macbethâ€
What’s your favorite thing about Luther?
“I like that we have so many music ensembles on campus and that basically anyone who wants to make music has the chance to do that, and be in more than one ensemble if they choose.â€
If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently?
“I’d spend more time with friends and stop sweating the small stuff. Homework is important, but it is not the only thing in life.â€
Any fears about graduating?
“I’m worried I won’t find as good a friend base wherever I go as what I have here.â€
Any great Luther stories to share?
“Last year Collegiate Chorale did a tour of Iowa, Missouri and Illinois. While we were in Missouri, we went to the St. Louis Arch. After being up there for some time, we all decided it would be fun to start singing one of our tour pieces. We sang ‘Old Time Religion’ with Julia Mann singing the solos. People up in the Arch stopped to watch and take pictures with us; some people even started singing along. It was the coolest moment, when everything just stopped and all there was, was us.â€
