“Restaurants, in particular Magpie, are perfect for dates because you can relax and enjoy some good food with someone else,” Dane said.

Other popular restaurants that prove to be great date locations that can be found in Decorah are Albert’s, La Rana Bistro and McCaffrey’s Dolce Vita. I myself have eaten at all three of these popular restaurants and can attest to the fact that they all offer top quality food, a great atmosphere and an overall enjoyable experience.

These three restaurants have one thing in common for customers: fine food. The one thing that can help a date to get off on the right foot is good food.

“The food at McCaffreys is awesome, and it’s so classy,” said Christina Gednalske (‘12).
