Head Coaches Gibbs, Fair resign

Due to resignations, Luther has lost two head coaches in the past two months.

Jane Gibbs, former head volleyball coach, resigned after accepting a position as head volleyball coach at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minn., accoring to the IIAC website. Gibbs spent three years as head coached and compiled a 26-12 record in 2009.

Kim Fair spent two years as head women’s soccer coach, tallying a 21-14-4 career record. In 2009, she led the Norse to an Iowa Conference Championship. The Atlethic Department is conducting a nationwide search to find replacements for both coaches.
