Schott hit a solo home run in the first and on his very next trip to the plate, hit a three-run home run in the second. His two home runs give him nine for the season, which ties him with John Jaeger (‘05) and Kyle Schroeder (‘07) for the single season record.

Topping and Bradley also produced multiple hits. Topping was 2-for-4 as the designated hitter while Bradley went 3-for-3 in the ninth slot.

Danny Smith (‘13) (3-1) was credited with the win. Smith allowed one earned run on six hits, walked three and struck out two in six innings of work.
