Hake and Lambert named to ESPN the Magazine Academic All- District VII team

The College Sports Information Directors of America announced that Luther College softball players Kelsey Hake (‘10) and Kim Lambert (‘10) have been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII Softball Team.

This annual award is sponsored by ESPN The Magazine and COSIDA. Only student-athletes who excel both in the classroom and on the field of competition are eligible. They must maintain a grade point average of 3.20 or greater and be a major contributor to their softball team.

Sports information directors nominate and vote on the athletes selected. Forty-eight Luther student-athletes have earned COSIDA Academic All-District honors since 1981.

Hake is an outfielder for the Norse, and Lambert is a starting pitcher.
