“Cruel Summer” is not a Kanye West record. If you go into it expecting Yeezy’s usual level of quality, you will be disappointed. “Cruel Summer” is the new album from G.O.O.D. Music, West’s record label, and it is much more about showing off West’s crew than the man himself.

“The Carpenter” released this past September, is the Avett Brother’s 7th studio album. While the album still has its roots in traditional folk and bluegrass, the Avett Brothers capture the musicality and tendencies of rock and roll and blend the genres masterfully.

It began as a feeling rather than an image. Slowly, that feeling was manifested in the two-dimensional form of a bird. The bird became a sketch that grew its own set of wings and multiplied--1300 times.
